drabble; to why Blaine flinched so badly when Seb came by him during ‘I Want You Back’
Okay so no-one I’ve seen so far have done this and I thought I’d try to tackle this monster. I know I may not be the best writer but yeah here it is, and no, I don’t have a title XD
He never anticipated on actually going back the Dalton. That time in November was supposed to be it. There were too many memories there and it hurt too much. Now he was stranded, pressed up against a wall with some members of New Directions with the Warblers attacking them. It was just supposed to be a simple glee club-off. Just one song. But, Sebastian was in charge and everything had changed. The Warblers were doing all these new songs and moves that Wes would never have allowed. It was a sight to see…and it was terrifying. When Blaine mentioned MJ to Sebastian, he didn’t actually think that he’d use it as a way to manipulate Blaine and ND. Not at all. Now, it was like Sebastian was trying to come up at him. Getting all in his face. Making gestures and the look of lust in his eyes.Blaine was never one for one on one like this. He preferred gentleness and passion. Sebastian was just trying to force the affection out of Blaine. And, the worst part was, was that Kurt is right there next to him. Making his famous cold-bitch stare.
When Sebastian was coming up at Blaine, it just brought up more memories. The time at the Sadie-Hawkins dance. When one of the guys was yelling at him, daring him to try something. Getting all in his face. Mocking him on what he could never have. It scared Blaine, and Sebastian brought that fear back. He was someone Blaine didn’t like getting involved with, and he didn’t know why he kept talking to him. So, when Sebastian snaked up at him, Blaine flinched away, out of instinct.
He just didn’t want that.
